Position Details

Registered Nurse in the Regional Float Pool – Part Time (24 hours per week), Nights shift (Nights #BeAMercy

Nurse). Candidates will report to facilities within Mercy’s regional footprint; facilities assigned will be discussed upon hiring.

Location:

Mercy Southeast – Cape Girardeau and surrounding communities.

• Sign‑On Bonus: $10,000 (no contract)
• Shift Differentials: $2.75 for evenings, $4.60 for nights, $1.50 for weekends

• Required
  
  Education:
  
  Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program.
• Preferred Education: BSN
• Licensure: Current RN license in the state of employment (or compact licensure) and compliance with all state board of nursing requirements.
• Required Experience: One year recent bed‑side RN experience for Med/Surg; at least two years for ED, ICU, etc.
• Preferred Experience: Epic experience.
• Certifications (must have to start):
  • Med Surg & Behavioral Health – BLS
  • Women’s Health – BLS & NRP
  • Critical Care (CC) – BLS, ACLS
  • Emergency Department (ED) – BLS, ACLS, & PALS

Stand/Walk most of the time on duty; significant bending, stooping, lifting, and turning of patients with assistance; push/pull/grip up to 50 pounds.
