LPN - Triage Nurse - Kisker Primary Care - St. Charles

Esse Health is currently seeking a full-time LPN - Triage Nurse for our Kisker Primary Care office located at 1475 Kisker Road in St. Charles.

The Telephone Triage Nurse answers the phones, triages all calls, makes clinical decisions based on protocols, and communicates with the Physician. The LPN may also assist in the examination and treatment of patients, interviewing patients, measuring vital signs such as pulse rate, temperature, blood pressure, weight, and height, and recording information in patients  chart or EMR.

The schedule for this position is Monday - Friday, 8:30 a.m.

- 4:30 p.m.

• Formal training which will probably be indicated by a graduation certificate from an accredited LPN school of nursing.
• Dedication to patient satisfaction, ability to communicate effectively and ability to work compatibly with physicians and other staff members.
• Physical requirements:
  
  ability to sit for extended periods of time while assisting patients via telephone. Ability to teach and assist patients needs, and document through the EMR (Electronic Medical Record). Ability to effectively communicate with physicians and staff.
