Position OverviewWellness Nurse Manager – PRN
Location:
St. Charles, Missouri
Starting wage: $32.00–$35.00 per hour
Shift
Schedule:
Flexible;
Weekend on Call (one Saturday or Sunday shift per month)
- Act as Superior Supervisor – in the absence of department heads, responsible for building supervision and leadership of the Wellness team and other departments.
- Serve as a Force on the Floor – provide exemplary leadership, respond to call lights, assist the team, and prioritize resident needs.
- Maintain diligent documentation – accurately complete resident assessments, medical records, and internal documents and file them correctly.
- Provide compassionate care – exemplify core values, interact professionally with residents and ensure they feel safe and cared for.
- Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing in the state of employment.
- Provide direct hands‑on nursing care, including medication passes as needed.
- Thorough knowledge of current care standards and regulations.
- Comprehensive knowledge of medication regulation and law.
- Knowledge of requirements for providing care and supervision appropriate to residents.
- Experience with memory‑impaired residents preferred (not required).
- Experience with an Electronic Medical Record (EMR) preferred (not required).
- Fluent in English and able to read, write, understand, and communicate.
- Positive, energetic attitude toward residents.
- Active – standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
- Ability to lift/move up to 50 pounds and perform two‑person transfers.
- Ability to assist residents with sitting, standing, walking, and post‑fall assistance.
- Criminally cleared.
