Maintenance Assistant

Overview

As a Maintenance Assistant at Windsor Estates of St. Charles (Tutera Senior Living & Health Care), you will perform the activities of the maintenance department to ensure environmental compliance with federal, state, and local ordinances, regulations, and building codes. You will assist in maintaining the facility to keep it sanitary, attractive, and orderly, in good repair, and free from hazards such as those caused by electrical, plumbing, ventilation, heating, and cooling systems.

• Perform maintenance activities to comply with environmental regulations.
• Keep the facility sanitary, attractive, and orderly.
• Address hazards related to electrical, plumbing, ventilation, heating, and cooling systems.

• A fire and passion for working with seniors
• A flexible, fun, and energetic personality
• High school diploma, or equivalent, preferred
• Prior experience in maintenance in an LTC/SNF/AL/MC setting highly preferred
• Prior maintenance experience required
• Knowledge of commercial laundry, housekeeping, and maintenance procedures
• Professional image in both appearance and behavior
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
