Job Summary

We’re seeking an experienced SharePoint Developer & Administrator to support enterprise‑wide SharePoint operations for a Civilian Government organization. This is a temporary role that runs through June 4, 2026. This role manages a dynamic environment of 250+ SharePoint sites and plays a critical part in ensuring that communication, content delivery, and governance consistently meet the needs of the mission. If you’re passionate about optimizing SharePoint experiences, aligning technology with business strategy, and making an impact across a high‑visibility federal program, this may be the role for you.

Duration

This is a temporary, full‑time role that ends June 4, 2026. There may be an opportunity for extension. This position is eligible for benefits.

Location

This is a full‑time remote role. The applicant must reside in the United States and be eligible to obtain a Public Trust clearance.

What You’ll Do SharePoint Administration & Development
  • Build, enhance, migrate, and maintain SharePoint sites and pages.
  • Manage permissions, governance, and content delivery across the environment.
  • Support a rapidly expanding suite of 250+ SharePoint sites.
  • Keep Agency’s enterprise SharePoint presence aligned with ongoing organizational priorities and direction.
Content Strategy, Optimization & Governance
  • Evaluate and streamline the current SharePoint environment.
  • Develop repeatable, scalable content‑management best practices.
  • Partner with SharePoint teams, leadership, Communications, Service Management, and technical writers to deliver cohesive communication strategies.
  • Support the high‑volume SharePoint News Post program (~3,000 posts in FY24).
Strategic & Organizational Support
  • Conduct gap analyses, develop recommendations, and support strategic initiatives.
  • Assist with long‑term content‑delivery models that consider non‑dedicated resource constraints.
  • Coordinate activities aligned with organizational goals, operational improvements, and mission support.
Project Coordination & Reporting
  • Prepare polished status reports, meeting minutes, and executive‑level presentations.
  • Host meetings, set agendas, and engage regularly with stakeholders and leadership.
What You Bring

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) or above in a related field of work.
  • At least 5 years of relevant work experience in SharePoint administration, development, and governance.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise SharePoint features, workflows, permissions, and lifecycle processes.
  • Strong comprehension skills for understanding needs and developing and applying solutions.
  • Ability to identify, initiate, manage and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Experience managing large, multi‑site SharePoint environments.
  • Ability to evaluate content structures and implement best‑practice improvements.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
  • Experience producing reports, presentations, and formal program documentation.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Strong interpersonal and presentation skills for interacting with team members and clients at the highest executive level.
  • Experience supporting federal civilian agencies.
  • Knowledge of enterprise communication strategy and content architecture.
  • Familiarity with Service Management and technical‑writing workflows.
  • Ability to manage high‑volume content cycles (migrations, news posts, publishing workflows).
