Manager of Data and Analytics

Technology Partners is currently seeking a talented Manager of Data and Analytics.

You will lead and execute the organization’s data reporting and analytics functions. This is a hands‑on leadership role where you will manage a team of analysts while directly contributing to dashboard development and enterprise reporting. Your primary goal is to ensure enterprise data is accurate, accessible, and actionable to enable strategic decision‑making. You will operate within a Microsoft‑based environment, taking deep accountability for Power BI standards, semantic layers, and the automation of reporting capabilities across all departments.

• Lead, manage, and develop the enterprise reporting and analytics team, overseeing day‑to‑day operations and prioritizing requests.
• Design, build, and maintain high‑impact enterprise dashboards and reporting solutions using Microsoft Power BI.
• Develop robust data models, semantic layers, and standardized reporting definitions to ensure consistency across the business.
• Partner with cross‑functional leaders (Finance, Operations, HR, IT) to translate complex business requirements into actionable insights.
• Identify and implement opportunities to replace manual, spreadsheet‑based reporting with automated, scalable BI solutions.
• Monitor data quality and maintain rigorous documentation for reporting logic, calculations, and data definitions.
• Enhance data visualization standards and stay current on the Microsoft data ecosystem (Fabric, Synapse, Azure Data Services).

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or a related field.
• 5+ years of professional experience in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, or Data Reporting roles.
• Expert‑level, hands‑on experience with Microsoft Power BI, including DAX and visualization best practices.
• Proven experience building complex semantic models and enterprise reporting frameworks.
• Experience working within Microsoft data environments (Azure, SQL Server, Synapse, or Fabric).
• Strong analytical mindset with experience supporting finance and operational reporting.
• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to explain data insights in business terms.

• 2+ years of experience in a leadership or team management role.
• Relevant Microsoft certifications (e.g., Power BI Data Analyst Associate, Azure Data Engineer, or Fabric).
• Working knowledge of Data Governance principles and data security standards.
• Railcar industry experience is a plus, but not required.
• Experience with project coordination and balancing structured projects with ad‑hoc business support.

Pay:$98,000 - $140,000 per year
