  • Ensure the proper administration of medication.
  • Maintain medication carts and proper recordkeeping.
  • To be “Proactive” with assisting residents with activities of daily living (ADL): bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, and oral care.
Responsibilities
  • Administer medications as prescribed and maintain accurate records.
  • Maintain medication carts and ensure proper documentation and recordkeeping.
  • Assist residents with activities of daily living as needed (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, oral care).
Qualifications
  • You must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
  • You must be appropriately certified per state guidelines and certification must be active and in good standing.
  • You will have a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Professional in appearance and conduct.
  • Mature interpersonal skills to work effectively with co-workers.
  • Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English with residents.
  • Positive and energetic attitude and a genuine love for residents.
  • Computer skills to print documents and enter information about residents.
  • Active as this role requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
  • Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to assist residents with sitting, standing, walking, and assistance after a fall.
  • Criminal background clearance.
  • Good health and ability to perform tasks; health screening required prior to start and tuberculosis testing as specified.
