Position: DSP Floater 23.50 per Hour Evenings

Quality Supports for Individuals with Intellectual & Developmental Disabilities Since 1990

FULL TIME DSP FLOATER| $23.50 per hour

Paid weekly, 36 hours guaranteed - 5-day work week

Schedule is Tuesday-Saturday - shifts between 2pm-11pm

Floaters work in varying locations. Days worked will remain consistent, but Floater must have the flexibility to adjust assigned locations as needed with little to no notice.

The main office is located in St. Charles, MO. Client homes are throughout the St. Louis and St. Charles County area

  • 1+ Years Full Time experience supporting individuals with I/DD is required.

    -Floaters must be able to work in all homes throughout St. Charles and St. Louis Counties.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • At least 18 years of age
  • Driver's License, car insurance and reliable transportation
  • Ability to pass all background checks and classes required.

    -Current CPR/FA and Level 1 Med Administration Certs-Flexibility and Reliability-Kind, patient, compassionate and respectful-Excellent communication skills-Floaters are responsible for maintaining positive working relationships with all staff, clients, and guardians.

    CORE RESPONSIBLITIES
  • Complete all required documentation to include medication record, daily notes, progress on client goals and outcomes, and financial transactions.
  • Support each individual so that s/he will feel a sense of self-determination, security, and have an opportunity to have meaningful relationships with others in their community.
  • Assist clients with daily life activities including personal care/hygiene, household chores, shopping, and recreational and social activities.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to each individual served.
