Loan Processor

PEG Staffing & Recruiting is partnering with a local banking client to find an experienced Consumer Loan Processor to support a busy lending operations team. This role is ideal for someone with consumer banking or consumer lending experience who enjoys working with loan documentation, ensuring compliance, and helping move loans efficiently from approval to funding.

This is a 5-month contract position that requires M-F, 8-5
onsite work in St. Louis, Missouri
.

• Review consumer loan applications and documentation for accuracy, completeness, and compliance
• Ensure underwriting conditions are satisfied prior to closing and funding
• Prepare and distribute loan documents for electronic signature
• Coordinate loan closing and funding activities across internal systems
• Monitor applications for potential fraud indicators and elevate concerns when needed
• Track loan disbursements and maintain accurate records
• Complete compliance checks, including OFAC reviews
• Communicate with internal teams and dealership partners to resolve documentation or funding issues
• Respond to questions regarding loan status and required documentation

• 3+ years of experience in consumer banking, consumer lending, or loan processing
• Experience reviewing and processing consumer loan files (auto, personal, etc.)
• Familiarity with financial regulations such as BSA, OFAC, and Fair Lending
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced banking or lending environment
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and financial systems
