Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Preferred Professional Engineering (PE) license
• Proven experience as an HVAC Piping and/or Plumbing Design Engineer in the mechanical contracting industry
• Expertise in industrial and commercial HVAC system design
• Proficiency in relevant design software for piping and plumbing
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
• Knowledge of applicable codes and standards

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with project teams to develop HVAC piping and/or plumbing design solutions for industrial and commercial projects
• Create detailed drawings and specifications for mechanical systems, encompassing layouts, schematics, and calculations
• Perform calculations and analyses to ensure system efficiency and compliance with standards
• Coordinate with clients, architects, and other stakeholders to define project requirements
• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements to bring innovative solutions to projects
• Provide technical support and guidance to project teams
