Manufacturing Engineer, Quality Engineering
We are seeking an experienced Quality Engineer with a strong background in manufacturing processes, specifically aerospace machining and related operations. In this hands‑on role, you will be responsible for ensuring quality requirements are accurately communicated and implemented across job travelers, blueprints, 3D models, and technical specifications. This position also plays a key role in implementing root cause analysis and corrective actions for nonconforming material.
Responsibilities- Develop and document inspection and test instructions, identifying new quality processes or inspection techniques
- Interpret blueprints and technical specifications
- Review job travelers and work instructions to ensure proper flow‑down of quality requirements
- Analyze quality‑related costs and drive continuous improvement through root cause and corrective actions
- Apply statistical process control techniques to monitor and improve processes
- Technical degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Quality Engineering, or 5+ years of experience as a Quality Engineer
- Must be a U.S. Person
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Self‑motivated with a strong work ethic and the ability to collaborate in a team environment
- Forward‑thinking and innovative mindset with a passion for problem‑solving
- ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE)
- Experience in the aerospace industry
- Familiarity with NX and CATIA 3D CAD software
- In‑depth knowledge of manufacturing processes
May be required to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance at the appropriate level. Requires U.S. Citizenship. Must also be able to satisfy federal government requirements for access to government information, and having dual citizenship may preclude you from being able to meet this requirement.
