A Leading Infrastructure Contractor is looking for a Buyer to manage materials and plant procurement for a portfolio of rail projects, you will:

• Manage the day to day project procurement of materials and plant.
• Negotiate with suppliers for materials not covered by frameworks.
• Work with project teams to deliver procurement requirements.
• Ensure savings, rebates and compliance are achieved in line with project strategies.

This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a high calibre team, working on high profile rail projects across the North.

A mixture of framework and project procurement to support regional rail and some small environmental projects.

Minimum of 2 year’s operational procurement experience from any leading infrastructure contractor or subcontractor.

Ideally you will currently be working as an assistant buyer or an experienced buyer who is looking for progression.
