Job Overview
APTIM is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer in our Solid Waste Engineering Group to support a variety of projects. The position can be remote or based in one of our offices in California (Concord), Texas (Dallas), Florida (Tampa or Winter Garden), Ohio (Findlay), Pennsylvania (Pittsburgh), or St. Louis, MO.
The role involves:
- Facility design and permitting
- Stormwater modeling and management plan development
- Construction oversight
- Operations and maintenance
- Hydrogeologic and geotechnical investigations
- Environmental compliance audits

Key Responsibilities
- Leading teams or projects
- Preparing engineering calculations, drawings, reports, and permits
- Ensuring regulatory compliance
- Providing technical oversight and quality control
- Client communication and problem-solving
- Managing scopes, budgets, and schedules
- Collaborating with contractors and team members
- Attending client meetings
Basic Qualifications
- BS/MS in Civil, Environmental, Geotechnical, Mechanical Engineering or related sciences
- PE License
- Minimum 10 years of experience
- Strong communication skills
- Teamwork and problem-solving abilities
Preferred Qualifications
- Landfill/Solid Waste experience
- Knowledge of AutoCAD, HEC-RAS, ArcGIS
- Understanding of environmental regulations

The estimated salary range is $99,000 - $165,000, depending on experience and location.
