The Francis Howell School District is seeking a dynamic and instructional-focused leader to serve as Associate Principal at Francis Howell North High School. The successful candidate will support the building principal in directing school programs and services, supervising staff, supporting student success, enforcing district and state policies, and fostering a positive learning environment for students, staff, and families.
As part of our leadership team, this position plays a vital role in sustaining high-quality instruction and promoting a safe, equitable, and positive school culture.
Salary $116,669.
This position reports to the building principal.
Key Responsibilities- Assist the high school principal in staffing functions including selection, orientation, supervision, evaluation, and support of personnel.
- Chair and facilitate meetings (curriculum, safety, advisory, district committees).
- Evaluate assigned staff and support professional growth.
- Facilitate communication among staff, students, and families to support problem-solving and positive relationships.
- Lead curriculum and instructional initiatives to meet state standards.
- Implement district policies and processes to ensure compliance and operational efficiency district-wide.
- Intervene in disciplinary matters and support student behavior growth.
- Manage administrative tasks tied to scheduling, student discipline, and school operations.
- Participate in professional learning communities and other professional development.
- Prepare reports and documents to communicate information and support decision-making.
- Represent the school within the community.
- Support the principal and execute other duties as assigned.
- Master's degree in Education Leadership or related field.
- Missouri Administrator certification (or eligible).
- Successful classroom teaching experience.
- Administrative experience preferred.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyze data, lead teams, and support instructional excellence.
