Overview
Vetta Sports is looking for an enthusiastic and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Front Desk Attendant. You ll be the first point of contact for our members, responsible for greeting them with enthusiasm as they walk in, making them feel welcome, and helping to maintain a safe and fun environment throughout our facility.
ResponsibilitiesWarm Welcome: Enthusiastically greet all members and guests upon arrival, creating a positive and welcoming first impression.
Member Assistance: Provide exceptional customer service by answering member questions clearly and accurately regarding programs, classes, schedules, and facility amenities.
Phone and Reservations: Answer incoming calls professionally and efficiently manage court usage reservations, ensuring accurate booking and clear communication with members.
Registration Support: Assist members with the registration process for various programs, classes, and leagues, guiding them through forms and payment procedures.
Information Management: Stay informed about all Vetta Sports offerings, events, and policies to provide up-to-date information to members.
Problem Solving: Address member concerns and resolve minor issues promptly and courteously, or escalate to management when necessary.
Maintain Environment: Contribute to maintaining a safe, clean, and organized front desk and lobby area.
Administrative Tasks: Perform various administrative duties as assigned, which may include data entry, filing, and processing payments.
Previous experience in a customer service, hospitality, or front desk role is preferred.
Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
A naturally enthusiastic, friendly, and approachable demeanor.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency with computer systems, including reservation and registration software (or the ability to quickly learn new systems).
Ability to handle cash and process payments accurately.
Reliable and punctual, with a strong work ethic.
Must pass a comprehensive background check.
Work primarily takes place at the front desk in a busy indoor sports facility.
Requires standing for extended periods and light lifting (e.g., promotional materials).
May be exposed to varying noise levels typical of a sports complex.
This is a part-time, hourly position requiring approx. 15–20 hours per week.
