Light Equipment Operator ; 1st Shift

• Set up and safely operate Digicon finishing unit to produce quality labels while minimizing waste and errors.
• Assist in ensuring that production goals are met.
• Pull and inspect samples per QPSs and notify management if quality standards are not being met.
• Prime, die cut, slit, and varnish materials for Digital Press labels.
• Set up and adjust machine and equipment for production runs.
• Maintain production logs in MIPS.
• Clean, lubricate and maintain assigned machine to ensure its optimum operation.
• Troubleshoot and maintain equipment to keep it in running condition.
• May provide training for new team members.
• Adhere to and promote all safety policies and procedures including, but not limited to, the proper handling of hazardous waste, lock out - tag out rules and hearing and eye protection policies.
• Perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned.
• It is the responsibility of all employees to follow the requirements of their documented process as defined in the ISO Quality Manual.
• Other duties as assigned.

• 1-2 years experience in a manufacturing environment; experience in print will be given preference
• Must be able to lift, pull and push 50 pounds.
• Two-handed operation; must have good eye/hand coordination.
• Ability to effectively communicate in English - read, write, speak.
