We are seeking a Controller to play a key role in guiding the company’s financial strategy and supporting operational success. This position goes beyond traditional accounting oversight — serving as a strategic partner to senior leadership while helping drive financial visibility, process improvement, and sustainable growth across the organization.
The ideal candidate is a hands‑on leader who thrives in a manufacturing environment, enjoys collaborating cross‑functionally, and wants to make a visible impact within a growing organization.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage a team of 5–7 employees across all accounting operations
- Oversee the monthly close process and financial consolidation for multiple locations while providing technical accounting guidance to staff
- Prepare, analyze, and present accurate and timely financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Partner with senior leadership to develop, administer, and monitor financial plans and budgets, keeping leadership informed of organizational financial performance
- Direct all accounting functions, including policy development, financial systems improvements, and operational management
- Establish and maintain strong internal financial and operational controls, ensuring timely reporting to executive leadership
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and corporate accounting policies; monitor regulatory changes and manage organizational impact
- Develop and implement structured reporting cadence and performance metrics to proactively assess business performance
- Manage fixed asset accounting, including inventory control and depreciation schedules
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (required)
- Minimum of 6+ years of progressive accounting experience
, currently holding a Controller title or similar
, with demonstrated management experience. - Manufacturing industry experience required
- Experience supervising core accounting functions including:
Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable/Invoicing, Inventory Accounting and Payroll - Strong business and financial acumen with sound judgment and decision‑making skills
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
