Our growing manufacturing client is seeking a hands‑on Controller to lead their accounting team and drive financial operations in a custom job shop environment.
What You’ll Do:- Lead a team of 3 (AP, AR, Payroll/HR)
- Manage cost accounting, journal entries, and month‑end close (3‑day target)
- Oversee financial reporting and variance analysis
- Support ERP transition to Epicor and bring payroll back in‑house
- Train and develop the accounting team
- 5+ years managing a small accounting team in manufacturing (job shop/custom environment preferred)
- Hands‑on experience with cost accounting (materials, labor, overhead)
- Strong leadership, communication, and process improvement skills
