Animator guide

Overview

The main responsibility of an animator guide is to lead various outdoor activities and ensure the safety and well-being of young people. You will be in charge of a group of children from their arrival on the site to their departure.

Place of work: 50 rue du Lieutenant Ingall, Saint-Calixte J0K 1Z0

• Animating outdoor activities
• Ensure the safety and well-being of young people
• Enforce and respect the rules of 45 degrees north
• Participate in assembly and disassembly
• Tidy up, clean and maintain the site and equipment
• Be in charge of a group from their arrival to their departure
• All other related tasks

• Be punctual and available
• Demonstrate leadership and autonomy
• The ability to work in a team
• Communicate orally in French
• Have a sense of responsibility
• Be dynamic and creative
• Be a student or graduate either in Animation & Leisure, Childhood Education or other (asset)
• Be DAFA certified (asset)
• Have the CPR card (asset)
• Day camp experience (asset)
