Job Title:
Sales Associate
The successful individual will leverage their proficiency in retail to contribute to the overall success of the store and deliver a memorable Kate Spade experience to guests.
Client & Service Expert- Achieves individual sales goals.
- Develops strong product knowledge across all categories.
- Ensures exemplary customer service by delivering the ultimate Kate Spade experience.
- Develops a personal connection with guests through effective use of selling skills.

- Extensive product knowledge.
- Partners with Store Manager and Assistant Manager to elevate selling culture.
- Partners with Store Manager and Assistant Manager to initiate business‑driving events in store.
- Understand and communicate the Kate Spade New York brand aesthetic, brand philosophy, and lifestyle to the sales team and customers.
- Builds strong relationships with clients as a brand ambassador.
- Communicates client feedback to store leadership to elevate service and sales.
- Adheres to all company policies and procedures with honesty and integrity.
- Performs and supervises store opening and closing procedures, including counting register funds, completing bank deposits, opening and closing registers, and securing the facility.
- Strong communication skills.
- Proven ability and contribution to an elevated selling culture.
- Elevated sense of personal style.
- Minimum 2‑3 years’ experience in luxury goods or a comparable retail environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
- Available to work store schedule, including evenings and weekends.
- Standing for extended periods of time.
- Safely lifts boxes up to 50 pounds.
