Job Title:

Sales Associate

Primary Purpose

The successful individual will leverage their proficiency in retail to contribute to the overall success of the store and deliver a memorable Kate Spade experience to guests.

  • Ensures exemplary customer service by delivering the ultimate Kate Spade experience.

  • Partners with Store Manager and Assistant Manager to elevate selling culture.
  • Partners with Store Manager and Assistant Manager to initiate business‑driving events in store.

  • Understand and communicate the Kate Spade New York brand aesthetic, brand philosophy, and lifestyle to the sales team and customers.
  • Builds strong relationships with clients as a brand ambassador.
  • Communicates client feedback to store leadership to elevate service and sales.
  • Adheres to all company policies and procedures with honesty and integrity.
Operational Excellence
  • Performs and supervises store opening and closing procedures, including counting register funds, completing bank deposits, opening and closing registers, and securing the facility.
Qualifications
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Proven ability and contribution to an elevated selling culture.
  • Elevated sense of personal style.
  • Minimum 2‑3 years’ experience in luxury goods or a comparable retail environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
Physical Requirements
  • Available to work store schedule, including evenings and weekends.
  • Standing for extended periods of time.
  • Safely lifts boxes up to 50 pounds.
  • Comfortable climbing ladders.
