• Model and deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
• Register sales on assigned cash register, provide customers with courteous, fair, friendly, and efficient checkout service.
• Engage customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services; resolve customer issues and answer questions to ensure a positive experience.
• Share customer service best practices with all team members to maintain a distinctive experience, including interpersonal habits (e.g., greeting, eye contact, courtesy) and Walgreens service traits (e.g., proactive help, identifying needs, servicing until satisfied).
• Provide courteous, friendly, fast, and efficient service.
• Recommend items for sale and trade‑ups or companion items.
• Process voids, returns, rain checks, refunds, and exchanges as needed.
• Keep counters and shelves clean, well merchandised, maintain inventory records, and price merchandise as directed by store manager or shift leader.
• Implement asset protection procedures to minimize profit loss.
• Ensure compliance with state and local laws regarding regulated products (e.g., alcoholic beverages, tobacco).
• Construct and maintain displays, including promotional, seasonal, and sale merchandise; complete resets and revisions as directed.
• Assist with separation of food items, product placement, and stock rotation using first‑in, first‑out method.
• Use store systems and equipment competently.
• Provide customer service in the photo area, including digital passport photo service, poster print, and creative machine; suggestive sell of promotional photo products.
• Assume web pick‑up responsibilities (monitor orders, fill pick lists, deliver orders to customers).
• Assist with exterior and interior maintenance to ensure clean, neat, orderly store condition and appearance.
• Comply with all company policies and procedures; maintain respectful relationships with coworkers.
• Complete special assignments and other tasks as assigned.

• Attend training and complete PPLs requested by Manager or assigned by corporate.

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English. (Except in Puerto Rico)
• Must be willing to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours.

• Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment.
• Prefer prior work experience with Walgreens.
• Prefer fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English. (Except in Puerto Rico)
