We are seeking a passionate and skilled Cooks to join our culinary team at 36 Granada. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in classic and modern cooking techniques, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure kitchen environment.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and execute high-quality dishes according to the restaurant s recipes and presentation standards.
- Maintain consistency and precision in plating, ensuring dishes meet the restaurant’s aesthetic and taste expectations.
- Work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-end kitchen environment, maintaining composure and focus under pressure.
- Manage mise en place, ensuring all ingredients and components are prepped and ready for service.
- Collaborate with chefs and other kitchen staff to maintain smooth kitchen operations.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation in compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Monitor and minimize food waste while maximizing ingredient utilization.
- Follow proper food storage and handling procedures to ensure food safety and quality.
- Assist in training and mentoring junior kitchen staff when necessary.
- Adapt to menu changes, seasonal ingredients, and special requests with precision and efficiency.
- Minimum 2+ years of experience as a line cook in a fine dining or upscale restaurant setting.
- Strong knowledge of classic cooking techniques, sauce work, and plating.
- Ability to work in a high-pressure, team-oriented environment with a positive attitude.
- Excellent knife skills and proficiency in multiple cooking methods.
- Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining the restaurant’s high standards.
- Food safety and sanitation certification (Serv Safe or equivalent preferred).
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
