Position Overview

One of our Partners in western Florida is seeking full-time locum CRNAs to support a high-efficiency surgical program operating under a collaborative care team model.

This assignment offers predictable weekday hours with no call or weekends, making it an attractive opportunity for CRNAs seeking steady daytime coverage.

  • Schedule: Monday–Friday

  • Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM

  • 5 × 8-hour shifts weekly

  • 20 shifts per month required

Providers rotate between the surgery center and affiliated hospitals within the St. Augustine region.

Schedule

Primary Schedule

Monday – Friday
7:00 AM – 3:00 PM (8-hour shifts)

Requirements:

  • Must be available for 20 shifts per month

  • Full-time coverage required

Job Responsibilities
  • Provide anesthesia services for scheduled surgical cases

  • Perform spinal anesthesia for orthopedic procedures

  • Monitor patients throughout procedures and recovery

  • Work collaboratively with supervising anesthesiologists

  • Assist with induction and emergence when required

  • Support OR efficiency in a fast-paced surgical environment

Practice Model

Care Team Model with collaborative physician support.

Typical structure:

  • Medical Direction Model

  • Physician-to-CRNA ratio typically 1:3 or 1:4

  • Anesthesiologists perform most regional blocks

  • CRNAs primarily staff operating rooms and manage anesthetic care

Operating Room Coverage:

  • St. Augustine ASC – 4 ORs

  • Southside – 15 ORs

  • St. Vincent – 8 ORs

  • St. Johns – 8 ORs

  • Riverside – 23 ORs

Providers typically remain at a single facility per shift.
