Telehealth Program Assist | PRN

THIS IS NOT A REMOTE POSITION

This position is on site at the Flagler Hospital location.

Under the supervision of the provider, the Telehealth Program Assistant utilizes technology to assist in the provision of telehealth care services. The position will assist providers by using remote devices for assessment, and in moving/positioning patient during assessment. This role will be supportive of patient safety, quality, rules and regulations, and policies and procedures. This role provides ongoing support to the Telehealth Program and is an advocate who ensures excellence in the patients’ experience in their virtual visit.

• Serves as primary point of contact and resource for the UF Health St. Johns Telehealth Program.
• Assures compliance of Telehealth processes and strategies.
• Coordinates morning and afternoon Telehealth rounding as directed by consulting physician.
• Initiates Telehealth visits between patients and consulting physician through HIPAA secured Telehealth platform.
• Supports consulting physician as a resource to complete exam, as directed and deemed appropriate by consulting physician
• Troubleshoots and navigates technology issues that patients, medical providers and staff may have during a Telehealth visit.
• Monitors and provides reports of technology and workflow issues that may arise with Telehealth visits.
• All other duties as assigned by department.

Required

Education:

• LPN program or ASN program graduate

Required License:

• RN or LPN active license in the State of Florida

Required experience:

• 1 year nursing experience
