Summary

Daily tasks include supplying the production floor with raw materials, utilizing SAP and RF transactions to maintain accurate inventory levels, completing material putaways after quality inspection, and reviewing documentation for accuracy.

Responsibilities
  • Use SAP for essential job functions.
  • Act as a bulk wire, sensor, or assembly coordinator.
  • Perform cycle counts with high accuracy and ensure physical counts match SAP quantities.
  • Verify incoming paperwork for lot traceability and overall accuracy.
  • Process raw material returns through SAP and physically put material away.
  • Label and organize inventory storage areas.
  • Review work orders to determine required parts and materials.
  • Pull correct material, count parts, measure/cut material with high accuracy.
  • Utilize FIFO and maintain lot control.
  • Follow company standard work practices and procedures.
  • Maintain an orderly, clean, and safe work area; promote 5S practices.
  • Problem‑solve and report problems to the supervisor.
  • Maintain regular on‑site attendance.
  • Perform any other duties assigned.
Essential Job Functions
  • Mathematical skills: addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, decimals, discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, volume, basic algebra, geometry.
  • Pass a mathematics examination.
  • Work safely to protect yourself, others, products, and company assets.
  • Show integrity in duties, foster teamwork, and accomplish job goals.
  • Respond to audible or visual alarms for building evacuation, shelter‑in‑place, and equipment movements.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Wave certification.
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
  • Basic knowledge of Excel, Word, and SAP.
  • Good judgment, decision‑making, and flexible teamwork skills.
  • Willingness to work additional hours on short notice.
  • Ability to interpret instructions in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
  • Participate in continuous improvement projects and 5S performance teams.
Supervisor Responsibilities

None.

Physical Demands

Regularly use hands to handle materials, stand, walk, reach, bend, twist, kneel, crouch, push, and pull. Lift and/or move up to 50 pounds independently and up to 2,000 pounds with mechanical lifts. Work at heights, around moving machinery, and operate mobile equipment. Requires close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth vision.

Work Environment

Clean facility with machinery, equipment, processes, and chemicals that may pose ergonomic, chemical, machine, or vehicle hazards. Controlled through engineering and administrative controls. PPE such as hearing protection, safety glasses, safety toe shoes, and hand protection may be required.

Personal Protective Equipment Requirements
  • ASTM F-, ANSI Z41-1999, or ANSI Z41-1991 rated safety toed shoes.
  • ANSI Z87.1 safety rated glasses.
  • Hearing protection in specific locations.
  • JSA compliance in specific areas.
