Job Overview
Owen Electric, established in 1986, is seeking an entry‑level Electrical Assembly Technician for our prefabrication shop. No prior electrical experience is required; a strong mechanical aptitude, reliability, and basic hand‑tool experience are desired. Successful candidates may be considered for an apprenticeship that includes on‑field training and classroom education.
Responsibilities- Assemble and prewire electrical components
- Bend lighting and systems conduits
- Work 8–10 hours a day in a production environment
- Use power, hand tools, and conduit benders
- Understand electrical materials and their uses
- High mechanical aptitude
- Commitment to safety
- Team player with high integrity and professionalism
- Ability to complete pre‑employment screenings
- Willingness to learn other electrical tools
