summary

this position is responsible for overseeing all aspects of maintenance operations to ensure that they are efficient, effective, and cost‑effective. They play a crucial role in ensuring that maintenance tasks are completed on time, to the highest quality, and within budget. This position is responsible for overseeing maintenance activities, stocking inventory, and providing administrative support to maintenance supervisors and technicians.

essential job functions
  • develop and maintain a comprehensive maintenance schedule for all equipment and machinery.
  • utilize emaint cmms to create and manage work orders, ensuring timely and accurate execution of maintenance tasks.
  • collaborate with maintenance technicians and operations teams to optimize equipment uptime.
  • leverage emaint cmms software to track and document equipment maintenance activities.
  • generate reports and analyze data from emaint to identify trends, areas for improvement, and opportunities for preventive maintenance.
  • oversee the maintenance inventory system, ensuring adequate stock levels of spare parts and materials.
  • utilize sap for inventory tracking, procurement, and replenishment processes.
  • implement efficient inventory control measures to minimize downtime and improve overall equipment reliability.
  • create, prioritize, and assign work orders based on equipment criticality and maintenance needs.
  • monitor the progress of work orders, updating status and documentation in emaint for real‑time visibility.
  • work closely with maintenance teams, operations, and procurement departments to ensure seamless workflow and resource availability.
  • communicate maintenance schedules, priorities, and updates to relevant stakeholders.
  • identify opportunities for process improvement within the maintenance planning and inventory management functions.
  • provide training and support for maintenance staff on the proper use of emaint cmms.
  • maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation related to maintenance procedures, schedules, and inventory records.
  • other duties as required in support of the department and the company.

qualifications

education and experience
  • a high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • 3+ years of manufacturing or equivalent experience required.
  • 3+ years of experience with cmms or similar software is preferred.
  • planning experience preferred.
  • basic understanding of mechanical tasks.
language skills
  • a high level of proficiency in english, with excellent written and verbal communication skills is required. Bilingual candidates are preferred.
mathematical skills
  • basic addition and subtraction skills.
job skills
  • proficiency in ms office including excel, word, power point, teams, and sharepoint is necessary.
  • exceptional knowledge of erp systems (sap mm and pp module knowledge is preferred).
  • ability to learn materials management skills including planning and scheduling techniques and methodologies, general maintenance knowledge, materials requirement planning (mrp), general knowledge of engineering change processes, inventory control, transactional management, and critical thinking and problem‑solving capability.
  • able to communicate effectively and maintain relations with internal and external customers.
  • able to work with little supervision.
