Phlebotomist III Float – Saint Augustine, FL

Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM to 3:00 PM, with rotational weekends.

Phlebotomist Float role: requires frequent shifting to new patient centers, providing diverse and dynamic work.

Pay range: $21.26+ per hour

• Cover assigned territory within Patient Service Centers, doctors’ offices, or as business needs dictate.
• Draw quality blood samples and prepare specimens for lab testing.
• Collect specimens per established procedures (drug screens, biometric screening, insurance exams).
• Enter billing information and collect payment when required.
• Coach, mentor, instruct and be the resource advisor for new employees; serve as point of contact to staff on site.
• Travel to additional doctors’ office or Patient Service Center sites when needed.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Medical training: medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred; required in California, Nevada & Washington.

• Five years phlebotomy experience required, inclusive of pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
• Minimum 3 years in a Patient Service Center environment preferred.
• Customer service in retail or service environment preferred.
• Keyboard/data entry experience.

Position requires ability to communicate effectively in English.
