Preschool Music Movement Teacher

The Music and Movement Enrichment teacher is responsible for implementing our new enrichment curriculum in the classrooms. Our program allows the children time to sing songs, do movement with their bodies, and use instruments.

• Ensures that the enrichment schedule is being followed each day
• Works with children of all ages; from infants up to 5 years old.
• Attends and participates in staff meetings, academy events, and parent meetings as requested
• Helps and supervises children during enrichment activities
• Counsels children when social, academic, or adjustment problems arise
• Performs other duties as assigned

• Must be at least 21 years old
• Must possess a CDA or higher in Early childhood education with 45 hours training in Early Childhood Education/Child Development
• Must meet all requirements stipulated by the state for this position
• Classroom teaching experience in an accredited early childhood facility a plus
• Pleasant/friendly demeanor and an outgoing personality
• Highly professional and dependable
• Must be able to interact appropriately with students of all ages and skill levels as well as with parents, coworkers, and management
• Enjoy music and/or movement activities (ie yoga, dancing, etc)
