Interim Risk Manager

Location: Saint Albans, VT

Start Date: ASAP

Pay Range: $150,000 - $160,000 annually

• Manage and respond to risk events while supporting ongoing quality improvement efforts.
• Report to the Quality and Risk Director.
• Oversee the risk event reporting system, conduct root cause analyses, work with regulatory bodies, and provide clinical chart review and risk‑related guidance.
• Operate independently with strong clinical knowledge, risk‑management experience, and triage skills; be highly organized, patient‑focused, and adaptable to changing needs.
• Provide excellent communication skills.
• Available to start within 2‑3 weeks of acceptance.

• Bachelor’s degree required; RN preferred.
• Active RN license strongly preferred.
• Previous healthcare experience focused on risk management, urgency/triage concepts, and clinical review required.

• Compensation Range: $150,000 to $160,000 annually.
• Final rate determined by experience, education, training, location, internal equity, and budget considerations.

• Base range represents a good faith estimate at the time of posting and may be subject to future adjustments.
