AboutThe Role
The Operator 3, Machine Liquid is responsible for all phases of transforming raw materials into finished product.
SHIFT HOURSSunday Monday and Tuesday 7:00pm - 7:15am and Wednesday 7:00pm - 1:15am.
SHIFT DIFFERENTIAL
: 10% hourly rate.

- Perform the duties of an Operator 2, Machine Liquid
- Adjust pre-refiner/refiner and conch temperatures and product fineness according to recipe and customer specifications
- Manually add raw materials like powders, fat, flavors and emulsifiers in different parts of the process according to recipes
- Verify viscosity of finished product and adjust as needed
- Enter recipe data according to production schedule
- Record raw material incoming number on production order sheet
- Enter performance confirmations and shift information into SAP
- Pump product from conches to finished/vertical tanks according to production schedule
- Conduct basic and preventative maintenance, report improvements as needed
- Sample finished products
- Requesting and transferring raw materials from storage silo to daily bin
- Break coverage
- PTO coverage
- Train level 2 and level 3 Machine Operators
- High school diploma or GED
- Good math skills, required
- Minimum two(2) years manufacturing experience, required
- Basic computer knowledge, required
- Trained in Quality/Sensory, preferred
- Trained in Chocolate Manufacturing, preferred
- Ability to stand on concrete floor for long periods of time
- Bend, squat, stretch, reach: frequently
- Ability to climb stairs, often
- Must be able to lift minimum of 50lbs, often
- Comfortable working at heights
- Must be able to work in a variety of weather conditions and temperatures in the facility
- Noise level can exceed 0.85 decibels
