Responsibilities- Are you ready to become a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator? Your Future Starts Here. Our Administrator in Training (AIT) program is the launching pad for your career as a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator.
- Join the Future Leader Administrator in Training (AIT) program through Genesis to develop into a leader with executive mentorship and personalized coaching. You will gain the operational, clinical, and leadership skills needed to run a skilled nursing facility while working toward licensure.
- Gain Hands-On
Experience:
Rotate through key departments to learn how each department contributes to patient care and overall success. - Prepare for Licensure:
Receive structured training, support, and documentation to meet licensure requirements; be prepared for NAB and state-specific licensure exams with targeted modules and guidance from an experienced preceptor. - Lead Projects That Matter:
Take on practical, project-based assignments that improve center performance and patient outcomes and contribute to quality initiatives. - Develop Leadership
Skills:
Attend leadership meetings and workshops, build skills in team communication and culture-building, and learn from seasoned professionals dedicated to your success. - Become a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA):
Complete a CNA class as part of the program to gain deeper understanding of day-to-day resident care.
- Bachelor’s degree (preferably in healthcare administration, business, or a related field) is required.
- Experience leading teams or projects in healthcare or a related industry is highly desirable.
- Strong communication skills, including fluent ability to read, write, and speak English, with the ability to communicate effectively across multiple teams and leadership levels.
