Location: St. Albans

Community Liaison – BAART Program

Full Time – Promote our opioid treatment programs in Greater Los Angeles by building relationships with referral sources, identifying new partners, and raising brand awareness in the designated service area. Support five area centers, including a 24/7 program.

Responsibilities
  • Provide community education on opioid use disorder and convey benefits of our treatment services to influencers and referral sources.
  • Build and cultivate relationships with decision makers, influencers, and others to strengthen the referral program.
  • Develop and implement marketing and referral development plans to identify opportunities and increase program utilization.
  • Utilize all available contact methodologies to achieve maximum reach: individual contacts, telephone, significant email, mailings, etc.
  • Schedule and complete in-person meetings with decision makers and influencers to understand needs, identify and resolve barriers, and establish successful partnerships.
  • Follow up with referral sources after a referral to thank them, answer questions, and assess satisfaction.
  • Develop collaborative relationships with contracted payors to foster mutually beneficial connections.
  • Coordinate local public relations outreach through speaking engagements, in-service training, and community organization involvement.
  • Work with clinical teams to develop and refine messaging around service offerings through all touchpoints.
  • Provide staff training and coaching for customer service delivery, call handling, and the inquiry and tracking process.
  • Handle stressful situations and interact with others effectively.
  • Maintain a detailed customer relationship database system to document marketing strategies, referral data, appointment history, call objectives, and notes.
  • Track, monitor, and report changes in the marketplace.
  • Submit regular and requested reports, including weekly activity reports as directed.
  • Work within a matrixed team structure to improve overall sales/referral development and inquiry/admission process.
  • Extensive travel throughout the assigned territory.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Associate degree in Marketing, Human Services, or related field;
    Bachelor’s preferred; obtain an AAP within first 180 days.
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in healthcare marketing and sales, preferably in behavioral healthcare.
  • Proven success in direct marketing/sales and/or clinical outreach; experienced presenting in public settings to diverse groups.
  • Competent understanding of substance use disorder, recovery, and industry trends.
  • Demonstrated sales/marketing experience in healthcare is a plus;
    Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Self‑motivated with strong organization skills, attention to detail, and strong work ethic.
  • Advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Office and CRM software.
  • Ability to maintain routine records and communicate effectively, orally and in writing.
  • Self‑directed and capable of working with little supervision.
  • Flexible and cooperative in fulfilling all obligations.
  • Positive and cooperative behaviors when working within a matrixed team structure.
  • Understand and follow oral and written directions; establish and maintain effective working relationships with partners, patients, program management, medical staff, counselors, and peers.
  • Satisfactory drug screen and criminal background check.
Salary Range

$23.00 to $26.00 an hour.
