Our client, in St. Albans VT is seeking an administrative assistant for a temporary assignment to join their team. As an administrative assistant you will be assisting with calls, emails, scheduling and other clerical duties.

Pay Range: 22.58 - 27.53

What’s the Job?

Managing the school’s administrative tasks including organizing and storing paperwork, documents and computer-based information

Answering phone calls, taking messages, and directing calls to appropriate personnel

Assisting with student registration and maintaining updated student records

Scheduling meetings, events, and maintaining school calendars

Preparing reports, memos, invoices, letters, and other documents, often using word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software

Facilitating communication between school staff, students, and parents

Managing inventory of office supplies and placing orders when necessary

Maintaining the confidentiality of sensitive information

Assisting with the planning and organization of school events and activities

  • High School Diploma / GED or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Regular and prompt attendance is required in this position.
  • Must be able to fulfill scheduling needs of the call center. T
  • Ability to speak clearly with good vocabulary to customers, other employees, service shops, and engine manufacturers’ representatives.
  • Written skills as needed to operate MACS (service tracks, order comments, and order entry) needed.
  • Other written skills minimal (message taking, completion of existing forms, invoice requests, correspondence, and lost machine form).
  • This position is regularly exposed to credit card information, cost of goods, size of mailings, specific sales information, inventory levels, back orders, access to data base, and customer personal information.
  • Must be able to communicate clearly, professionally and in a friendly welcoming manner.
