We are seeking a mechanic with 2 years of experience to expand our team in the Baie-Comeau region.

YOUR DAILY CHALLENGES:
Repairing and maintaining school busesPerforming thorough road testsCompleting mechanical maintenance reports and work ordersHandling paint and finish repairsFollowing the Preventive Maintenance Program (PEP)Preparing required parts lists and keeping inventory up to dateManaging warranty follow-upsIssuing part release slips on work ordersOrganizing the workshop (equipment and storage)Searching for technical documentationEnsuring cleanliness of work and wash areasInstalling equipment (radio, camera, GPS) on new vehiclesAccurately diagnosing mechanical issuesAny other related tasks contributing to the proper functioning of the shopType of employment:

Requirements
Diploma in Heavy Vehicle Mechanics, Automotive Mechanics, or Construction Equipment Mechanics (DEP), or relevant experienceMinimum of 2 years of mechanical experiencePossession of a PEP certification (an asset)Knowledge of diesel mechanicsFamiliarity with Cummins and Allison software (an asset)Valid Canadian work permit (required)Qualifications:
Good attendanceGood manual dexterityGood analytical skillsGood spatial perceptionInitiativeSense of responsibility and observation
