🔧 About the JobWe’re looking for a Senior Agricultural Machinery Technician who is autonomous, organized, and committed to delivering top‑quality mechanical work.
In this senior role, you’ll handle advanced diagnostics, maintenance, repair, and assembly of agricultural equipment while supporting our customers and workshop team.
Your Responsibilities- Assemble and prepare agricultural machinery according to supplier specifications
- Research technical information on agricultural equipment
- Test and troubleshoot electrical and electronic systems
- Maintain and repair essential electrical systems and comfort‑related components
- Perform heating, welding, and cutting work
- Inspect, maintain, and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- Repair mechanical systems, power transmission, steering, and braking systems
- Maintain and repair clutches, transfer cases, and manual transmissions
- Maintain and repair diesel engines in agricultural machinery
- Test and adjust computer‑controlled systems
- Calibrate and adjust electronic control systems
- Maintain and repair diesel fuel and exhaust systems
- Maintain and repair tractor hydraulic systems
- Service and repair soil‑preparation systems and crop production equipment
- Maintain and repair haying and forage systems
- Maintain and repair balers and bale wrappers
- Maintain and repair combine harvester systems
- Service and replace hydraulic transmissions
- Perform computer‑assisted diagnostics and technical research
- Follow workplace health, safety, and environmental standards
- Perform general workshop duties and building maintenance
- Participate in ongoing training
This position is open to both men and women.
Education & Qualifications
- DEP in agricultural mechanics, heavy machinery mechanics, or equivalent mechanical training
- High school diploma (DES)
- 10 years of relevant experience
- Valid driver’s license
