Senior Accountant

- I am looking for a senior accountant for a manufacturing company in Blainville.

Your duties will include:

-Performing day-to-day accounting tasks and assisting the controller.
-Participating in the preparation and analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
-Managing import accounting (supplier payments, reconciliations, customs duties).
-Performing bank reconciliations and analyzing general ledger accounts.
-Provide occasional replacement for payroll, as needed.
-Document and improve accounting procedures and internal controls.
-Contribute to the optimization of financial reporting tools.
-Actively participate in the implementation of the ERP system and document new processes.

Your profile:

-Bachelor's degree in accounting, management control, or finance.
-5 to 7 years of experience in accounting or financial analysis.
-Excellent command of MS Office, particularly Excel.
-Knowledge of IFRS or US GAAP standards.
-Strong analytical skills and ability to make concrete recommendations.
-Excellent written and oral communication skills in French and English (required).
-Autonomy, sense of priorities, resourcefulness, and ease in a dynamic environment.
