Job Overview

As a Field Merchandiser, you'll work independently to showcase your organization and time management skills, establish retailer relationships, and represent Hallmark. You will collaborate with local store teams to optimize product placement, maintain inventory levels, and support seasonal resets and installations when needed.

SALARY AND SCHEDULE DETAILS

• Your starting hourly pay rate will be $13.00‑$15.00 depending on your skills and experience.
• Eligible Employees receive annual pay increases.
• This is a Part‑Time position with a variable schedule during the work week.
• Average weekly hours are between 15‑20 hours per week.
• Availability week before and after major holidays, including weekends, is required.

Your Role and Responsibilities

You’ll perform service work in the Hallmark department of various retail stores such as grocery stores, drug stores, department stores, and mass retailers. The role consists of three major components:

• Day‑to‑day engagement:
  Using a mobile device provided by Hallmark, you restock, organize, and monitor inventory of Hallmark products inside and outside the Hallmark department. Technology is critical for communication with your supervisor, reporting time, providing feedback, and answering surveys.
• Holiday support:
  During high‑demand holidays such as Valentine’s Day, Easter, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas, you may work additional days and extended hours, possibly on the holidays themselves.
• Department resets:
  You may assist with installations, relocations of card departments, and other reset tasks, typically with two weeks’ advance notice. This may include evenings or weekends.

Physical Requirements

This is a physically demanding job requiring consistent push, pull, lift, and carry of cartons, merchandise, and display fixtures up to 30 lbs daily and up to 50 lbs on occasion. You will kneel, squat, walk, and stand throughout the day and may need to climb stairs and step ladders.

Basic Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English.
• Can grasp, pull, lift, and carry products up to 30 lbs frequently and 50 lbs occasionally.
• Can operate a digital hand‑held device to read documents and interpret information.
• Has access to Wi‑Fi and the Internet.
• Has reliable transportation to travel to assigned stores on schedule.
