The Career Material Handler position is a great opportunity for a resilient, team-minded individual who does not stray away from a challenge.

What you'll do:

• Utilizes the ERP system (BPCS/LX) to perform inventory transactions and inquires, including the use of mobile bar code devices.
• Optimizes storage locations based on part velocity and volume policies.
• Acts as back-up for multiple areas when required.
• Operates mobile equipment, such as forklifts, man-lifts, pallet jacks, to move material.
• Assures the material counts are accurately reflected in the system and material is stored according to defined policies and procedures.
• Able to identify part types and methods of storage associated with assigned area.
• Performs put-away and picking functions utilizing BPCS bar code devices.
• Maintains accurate stock counts, locations and products IDs in assigned areas.
• Rearranges material as directed for optimization.
• Initiates and maintains all applicable paperwork as required.
• Follows all safety rules and practices.
• May be involved in safety committees or initiatives.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

What You ll Need:

• Minimum six months experience working in team environment.
• Experience in warehousing activities requiring high level of precision and productivity.
