Schedule: Mon-Fri Every other weekend, The standardized hours are M-F 8:30a 7:30p, Sat 9:00a–5:30p, Su 9:00a–4:30p, NPs will work a full time schedule, which typically averages 38 hours per week.
Pay rate: $76/hr on W2
Location: 1301 N. Saginaw Blvd., Saginaw, TX, USA, 76179
Description- A current BLS from ARC or AHA is required.
- All Minute Clinic positions are safety sensitive.
- Unless otherwise noted, this position will require working every other weekend with possible holiday rotations.
- Provide Primary and Family evidenced-based care inclusive of accurate assessment, diagnosis, treatment, management of health problems, health counseling, and disposition planning for our patients.
- Provide administrative duties to include but not limited to opening/closing the clinic, inventory, patient follow up, verifying insurance and collecting payment, maintaining a clean environment.
- Be responsible for handling patient appointments and performing routine examinations to ensure positive patient health outcomes
- Perform duties including speaking with patients about healthy lifestyle choices, completing diagnostic tests to help diagnose and treat patients for injuries or illnesses and coordinating with other healthcare professionals to maintain a comprehensive plan of care
- Encourage patients to become active participants in their own healthcare and well-being through services such as health screenings, behavioral health and wellness, chronic condition management
- A minimum of 1 year of recent Primary Care experience as a Nurse Practitioner in either a family medicine or primary care practice preferred. If not, successful completion of CVS Minute Clinic primary care training program.
- Working knowledge and understanding of quality measurement in the management of chronic disease conditions
- Self-motivated, prioritizes and solves problems, takes initiative, and advocates for their patients and their practice
- Effective verbal, written, and electronic communication skills
- Willingness to obtain multi-state licensures
- Capacity to collaborate with professional colleagues frequently to ensure quality patient care
Master Degree level Family Nurse Practitioner program with current National Board Certification and State of Employment license to practice in the Advanced Practice Nurse role.
