Job Requirements- You must be 16 years of age or older.
- General duties for all store team members: operate all equipment; stock ingredients; prepare product; receive and process telephone orders; take inventory and complete paperwork; clean equipment and facility daily.
- Training: orientation and on-the-job training provided.
- Communication
Skills:
ability to comprehend and give written instructions; ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders over the phone and in person. - Essential Functions/
Skills:
basic math (add/subtract/multiply/divide) and monetary change; verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders; eye-hand coordination; ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
Physical Requirements
Work Conditions
- Exposure to varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions when performing outside tasks.
- In-store temperatures range from 36°F (cooler) to 90°F and above in some areas.
- Fumes from food odors and cornmeal dust.
- Cramped quarters (including walk-in cooler) and hot surfaces/tools up to 500°F or higher.
- Sharp edges and moving mechanical parts.
- Sensing:
Talking and hearing on telephone; near/mid-range vision for in-store tasks; depth perception; differentiating hot and cold surfaces. - Temperaments:
Ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, work under stress, meet quality standards, interact with people, analyze data, and make decisions.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Standing for most tasks; walking for short distances; shifting between standing and light sitting as needed.
- Carrying and lifting: cases weighing up to 50 pounds; dough trays and supplies; maneuvering with carts and dollies.
- Pushing/pulling, reaching, stooping/bending, crouching/squatting, and occasional climbing or stair use for price changes, cleaning, and maintenance.
- Manual dexterity and eye-hand coordination for dough shaping, ingredient handling, and tool use (pizza cutters, peels, etc.).
