Shift Notes:
Days: 10 hrs: 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM : 40 Hours Guaranteed (will also take 8 hour days if candidate prefers)
Weekend Requirements:
For Call Rotation (every other weekend, potential to move to every third)
On Call Requirements:
Call Required (10-15 days of call per month)

Job Description:

This position cares for patients before, during and after angiography and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures. This position cares for Structural heart, Interventional Radiology, Diagnostic / planned intervention Neuro, Vascular and EP pacemaker / device patients. This includes pre-procedure assessment, pre-medication, documentation of procedural process, post-procedure care and patient education.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

(35%)
* Performs nursing care of the cardiac catheterization, Structural heart, Interventional Radiology, Diagnostic / planned intervention Neuro, Vascular and EP pacemaker / device patients.
(35%)
* Calculates cardiac output, performs hemodynamic monitoring, procedural set up and operates life saving equipment such as intra-aortic balloon pump (IABP), Impella, etc. Transfers patients, stocks supplies and performs basic office procedures. Scrubbing cases.
(15%)
* Records all pertinent information on appropriate data sheets.
(15%)
* Assists Radiologic Technologists circulate cases, sterically drop procedural supplies on the tray.

VeeAR Health Job . Pay package is based on 10 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
