LPN Floor Nurse

Overview

LPN Floor Nurse - up to $34.55 per hour!

Join our award-winning team at Saginaw Senior Care & Rehab and provide specialized nursing care across orthopedics, cardiac, respiratory, oncology, palliative care, infections, neurology and dermatology. You will assess needs and implement care using the latest technology as part of a strong interdisciplinary team.

• You will perform a variety of treatments, including wound care, irrigations, IV therapy, tube feedings, and other procedures as directed.
• You will administer medications as prescribed by the physician and advise patients and families on changes to medications, treatment plans, and patient condition.
• You will provide preventative and supportive care aimed at the physiological and psychosocial well-being of patients.
• You will promote hospitality and excellent customer service in daily interactions with patients, families, and visitors to foster a positive healing environment.
• You will oversee the Nurse Aide team including giving direction and assignments, offering training, and contributing to recognition and evaluations.

• A current license to practice as a Practical Nurse (LPN) in Michigan; current CPR certification.
• An Associate's or Bachelor's Degree, or higher.
• A high level of analytical ability to prepare personalized care plans, implement nursing care and rehabilitation, and solve problems related to well-being.
• Excellent customer service skills with a commitment to delivering high-quality, passionate, innovative care.
• Team player with dedication to supporting colleagues and completing the job.

• Plus $3.40 per hour hero pay

• 8 shifts; rotating weekends and some holidays
• Full-time, Afternoon shift 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM
