Wellspring Lutheran Services is a statewide nonprofit dedicated to serving seniors, families and children throughout Michigan. We are currently seeking a
Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Covenant Skilled Nursing and Rehab at Wellspring team in Saginaw. Covenant Skilled Nursing and Rehab at Wellspring is a partnership between Covenant Health Care and Wellspring to help patients transition from the hospital to home. The new facility provides the most advanced post-acute care and services in the Great Lakes Bay Region. As a Registered Nurse (RN) In this role, you will provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents in a supportive, team-centered environment.

• Provide quality nursing care to residents in an environment that promotes their rights, dignity, freedom of choice and individuality
• Perform all responsibilities according to prescribed safety and infection control procedures including hand washing, glove use and proper disposal of materials
• Make daily resident visits to observe and evaluate physical and emotional status
• Receive report from the off-going nurse and provide report to the on-coming nurse
• Give report to the medical team for the shift
• Report changes of condition, abnormal lab results, concerns and new admissions to the physician
• Report changes of condition, abnormal labs and injury-related falls to the physician and responsible party
• Receive, implement and document new physician orders and update resident care plans
• Administer medications timely and follow stop-order procedures according to policy

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing with the State of Michigan (required)
• Successful completion of an accredited Registered Nursing program (required)
• Two years of nursing experience in home health, medical, surgical or critical care preferred
• Compassionate, dependable and team-oriented

• Weekends/Holidays:
  Every 3rd weekend and every 3rd holiday
• Starting pay: $37.40 – $40.65/hour based on experience and licensure
• Additional pay: $5.00/hour midnight shift differential
