This position specializes in identifying, controlling, and preventing outbreaks of infection within the facility. The Director assists with modifying treatment regimens, plans and supervises the twenty‑four‑hour operation, and serves as a resident advocate.

• Assess residents to ensure nursing care is carried out as directed.
• Implement standards of nursing practice through policy formulation and record maintenance.
• Develop and revise infection control policies and procedures.
• Investigate suspected outbreaks and provide consultation on infection risk assessment.
• Stay current on trends, federal and state regulations for skilled nursing facilities.
• Coordinate and present new‑hire orientation and training for nursing team members.
• Deliver in‑service programs on requested topics and reinforce operational policies.
• Promote hospitality and excellent customer service with patients, families, and visitors.
• Supervise nursing team, provide direction, training, recognition, and evaluate performance.

• Base salary: $88,000 per year.

• Monday‑Friday schedule.

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program with an associate’s or bachelor’s degree, or higher.
• Current RN license in Michigan and CPR certification.
• 3+ years of experience in long‑term care facility.
• Clinical knowledge of long‑term care nursing, anticipating resident needs.
• Excellent customer‑service skills and a commitment to passionate, innovative care.
