** Essential Duties and Responsibilities

* Serves food to guest with high level of customer service.
* Must understand and practice the concept of teamwork.
* Maintain high standards of safety and cleanliness in all areas.
* Must strive to provide guest with a memorable experience and exceed their expectations by anticipating their needs.
* Assist with collecting all banquet equipment to include flatware, china, glassware, and serving pieces needed for each event.
* Assist with preparation and set-up of event room when necessary.
* Prepare tables with place settings as instructed.
* Establish and maintain positive client relationships.
* Maintain accurate cash handling procedures at all times
* Ensure health codes are followed
* Prepares food and beverage for customer
* Follow all rules and regulations for serving alcohol.
* Perform other duties as assigned

* Must have good oral and written communication skills and understand instructions and guest request.
* Must have strong customer service skills.
* Must have basic math skills
* Must be able to adapt to changes in the work environment, managing competing demands, frequent changes, delays or unexpected events.

* Daily lifting up to 20 lbs., constant reaching, stooping, standing and walking. Must be able to balance serving trays and have good manual dexterity.
* Required to move around the facility; to stand for long hours during events; talk and hear.
* This position requires work inside and outside of the building, parking lots included and some exposure to adverse conditions.
* Performing work through repetitive eye/hand coordination.

All Food & Beverage scheduling is dependent on The Dow Event Center and Huntington Event Park events calendar. Must be able to pass a background check to include a credit history report and meet corporate minimum requirements
