Job Summary:

Busy OB/GYN practice seeking a reliable and organized Medical Assistant / Surgery Scheduler to support both clinical and administrative operations. This hybrid role includes MA duties, surgical scheduling, and occasional front desk coverage. Ideal for someone who enjoys variety and works well in a fast-paced medical office.

• Room patients, take vitals, and document histories
• Assist providers with in-office procedures
• Prepare exam rooms and maintain supplies
• Administer injections and assist with labs (as trained)
• Schedule surgeries and coordinate with hospitals/surgery centers
• Obtain prior authorizations and complete surgical paperwork
• Communicate with patients regarding surgery dates and instructions
• Assist with patient check-in/check-out and phone coverage as needed
• Maintain accurate documentation in the EMR (EPIC)

• Medical Assistant certification or equivalent experience preferred
• Surgery scheduling experience strongly preferred
• OB/GYN experience a plus
• EMR experience required
• Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills
