Summary: We are seeking a dependable and friendly individual to join our team as a part-time Lunchroom Aide/Playground Monitor at Arrowwood Elementary School. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of students during lunch and recess periods.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise students during lunch and recess periods to ensure their safety and well‑being
  • Encourage positive behavior and discourage negative behavior
  • Respond to student needs and concerns promptly and appropriately
  • Monitor the playground and equipment to ensure they are safe and in good condition
  • Report any safety concerns or incidents to the appropriate personnel
  • Maintain a clean and organized lunchroom and playground area
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience working with children preferred
  • Ability to communicate effectively with students, staff, and parents
  • Ability to enforce rules and regulations in a fair and consistent manner
  • Ability to remain calm and composed in stressful situations
  • Physical ability to stand, walk, and move around for extended periods of time
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug test

Note:

This is a 2-2.5 hours per day part‑time position. Shifts are typically between 10:30am‑1:30pm on school days.
