Service Contract Associate

Zurich North America is hiring multiple Service Contract Associate positions to join our Vehicle Service Contract team! We are open to hiring talent for various virtual positions to work a shift between the hours of 7am – 8pm Central Standard Time.

With direct supervision, Service Contract Associates investigate, evaluate, and conclude low exposure, low complexity, mechanical breakdown claims following established protocols to ensure claims are handled efficiently while delivering a customer‑centric claims service. They determine causes of failures and review contract language to apply applicable coverage for loss, provide technical support to external sales staff, and communicate primarily with service shops, dealership personnel, and claimants to gather information and resolve claims.

• Field incoming calls from dealerships, service shops, and inspectors regarding low exposure, low complexity, mechanical breakdown claims.
• Determine applicable contractual coverage and most appropriate replacement/repair solution.
• Work to have a timely resolution to claims by negotiating costs and labor hours associated.
• Ensure customer service by proactively communicating information, responding to inquiries, and following customer protocols.

• High School Diploma or Equivalent and 2 or more years of experience in the Automotive repair area OR
• Bachelor’s Degree and 1 or more years of experience in the Automotive Repair area OR
• Zurich approved Apprenticeship program including an Associate Degree and 1 or more years of experience in the Automotive repair area AND
• Customer service experience
• Experience with Microsoft Office

• Experience in auto industry areas of service repair, auto technology, parts department, machinist, powersports technician, service management or service advisor
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to multi‑task
• Organization and time management skills
• Experience with collaboration and working across work groups
• ASE

The pay range shown is a national average and may vary by location. The proposed hourly rate range for this position is $22.40–$30.87, with short‑term incentive bonus eligibility set at 5%.
