Cost Accountant - Mason Area

Salary Range: $65,000 - $98,000 depending on experience

• Analyze manufacturing variances (material, labor, overhead) and provide detailed reports.
• Perform month-end close activities related to inventory and cost of goods sold.

• Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts.
• Reconcile inventory accounts and investigate discrepancies.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience as a Cost Accountant in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of standard costing, variance analysis, and inventory valuation methods.
• Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) and advanced Excel skills.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting in a manufacturing context.
• Ability to analyze production costs, identify efficiencies, and support strategic decision-making.

• Familiarity with Lean manufacturing principles or Six Sigma methodologies.
• Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) or advanced SQL.
• Advanced user proficiency with a major ERP system's costing modules (e.g., SAP CO, Oracle Cost Management).
• Understanding of supply chain logistics and their impact on manufacturing costs.
